SHELVES

Arina Zinovyeva celebrates a decade of creative practice in her solo exhibition Shelves. The work spans from the intricate drawings to bold abstractions. Her interest in the medium shifted from detailed pencil drawings on paper to expressive mixed media on board. Not only has she reconsidered the medium, but also the concept behind her work. The years 2008-2012 were marked with intense exploration of physical and emotional journeys; the period of 2013-2016 however was dedicated to an analysis of quantum physics and in depth research of ways to represent it visually.  A variety of work and her enthusiastic approach to abstract painting is what she wants to show to an audience.
