These lessons will equip you with the skills and habits that will help you draw from observation. You will practise:

  • measuring the relative widths and lengths of objects
  • positioning objects on the page
  • analysing the negative space
  • measuring angles of objects
  • discerning simple shapes
  • differentiating between light, shadow and midtones
  • and much more!

If you want to draw – landscapes, plants, trees and flowers – people, portrature and figures in motion – still life, jugs, fruit and animals – these lessons are for you

Method

A traditional teaching methodology is used in every lesson: clear guidance, demonstration and feedback on how to improve. We start from discrete skills and then build on them to move towards more complex compositions.

How it works

FAQ

I’ve tried following online tutorials, but can’t get my drawings look natural and realistic. I’m stuck. Can these lessons help me?

Even though online tutorials are helpful and I like some of them too, the crucial element that’s missing from all of them is feedback. In the drawing lessons with me, I will be giving you feedback on how to improve. Also, to draw effectively, we need to use our whole body. I will help you understand how to use your arms, hands and fingers, your head and your eyes to see objects in front of you and to analyse them visually.

I love drawing but I am not confident in it. Are these lessons for me?

In these lessons, you will build your confidence by seeing that you can draw realistically. If you follow my recommendations, I guarantee the results.
